What is Allulose?

Allulose is a zero calorie sweetener known as a rare sugar, monosaccharide, or psicose, made through natural enzymatic process using non gmo corn. It is naturally found in some fruits like kiwi, raisins, figs & jackfruit. It does not raise blood sugar and only has 1/10 of the calories of sugar. It resists gut fermentation minimizing digestive effects that some sweeteners can have like sorbitol, maltitol, xylitol & inulin based items. Initial research has shown some positive impacts on blood sugar, liver health, weight loss efforts, and has some anti-inflammatory properties.
