3 tbsp organic olive oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 can organic tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano (or 1 tbsp fresh oregano)
2 tsp dried basil (or 1 tbsp fresh basil)
2 tsp Wholesome Organic Sucanat or Dark Brown Sugar
Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
Heat the oil in the pan and gently fry the garlic until slightly browned.
Remove from the heat and add the rest of the ingredients.
Return to the heat and simmer gently for 25 minutes, stirring frequently until all the liquid has disappeared from the surface.
