DIRECTIONS:
Step 1
Prepare simple syrup by bringing honey, water, cinnamon and cardamom to a boil in a wide, shallow saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce to a simmer and add orange slices.
Step 2
Simmer for 45 minutes, flipping orange slices occasionally.
Step 3
Remove orange slices using a fork, and allow to cool completely on a wire rack (ideally 24 hours). Reserve simple syrup.
Step 4
In cocktail shaker with ice, combine all ingredients and stir. Allow to chill for several minutes before straining into a glass to serve.
Step 5
Garnish with candied orange slice.
