BUTTERCREAM FROSTING

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1

Using electric mixer, mix butter.

Step 2

Sift in powdered sugar and mix on low until incorporated.

Step 3

Add vanilla and salt and increase to medium speed for approximately 6 minutes until light and airy.  Stop occasionally to scrape.

Step 4

Reduce speed to low and drizzle in heavy cream until fully incorporated.

Step 5

Scrape and mix on medium for 10 seconds more.

 

Use immediately.
