DIRECTIONS:

FOR THE HIBISCUS SYRUP

Step 1
Combine agave nectar, water and hibiscus flowers in a saucepan over medium heat.

Step 2
Bring to a simmer and heat a few minutes more, until combined.

Step 3
Remove from the heat and strain. Allow to cool.

FOR THE DRINK

Step 1
Prepare two cocktail glasses by running a fresh slice of grapefruit around the rims.

Step 2
Dip glasses in tajin. Fill with ice.

Step 3
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. 

Step 4
Add grapefruit juice, tequila, lime juice, and hibiscus agave syrup to the shaker.

Step 5
Shake vigorously.

Step 6
Strain in the prepared paloma into the glasses.

Step 7
Garnish with a fresh grapefruit wedge and enjoy!
