DIRECTIONS:
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.Â
Step 3
Add the grated butter and mix it into the flour mixture.
Step 4
Add the buttermilk and honey. Mix until just combined.
Step 5
Using a large ice cream scoop, or ½ cup measuring cup, scoop the dough onto the sheet pan lined with parchment paper, spacing the biscuits evenly apart.
Step 6
Make the honey butter by melting the remaining butter in a microwave safe dish in the microwave until melted.Â
Step 7
Whisk in the honey to form a cohesive honey butter.
Step 8
Using a kitchen brush, baste the biscuits with the honey butter and slide into the preheated oven.
Step 9
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the tops of the biscuits are golden brown.
Step 10
Remove from the oven and allow to cool before basting on more honey butter and sprinkling with flaky sea salt.
