SPICY CHIPOTLE BBQ SAUCE

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1

In a large heavy bottomed saucepan, sauté onions in butter over medium heat until lightly browned.

Step 2

Add in garlic and sauté for a couple more minutes then add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer on low heat for an hour or until desired thickness.

Step 3

Carefully place into a blender or food processor in batches and blend till smooth.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Recipe Yield

1 Gallon (Large Size Recipe intended for catering or foodservice occasions. Cut recipe in half or more for smaller yield.)
