Grilled Peaches with Brown Sugar Glaze


8 peaches, cut in half, pit removed 

4 tablespoons unsalted butter 

⅓ cup Wholesome Organic Fair Trade Light Brown Sugar 

1/2 cup orange juice  

1 teaspoon smoked paprika 

¼ teaspoon salt  

⅛ teaspoon black pepper  

1 tablespoon lime juice  


Homemade Whipped Cream, for topping 

Chopped Pistachios 

Wholesome Organic Fair Trade Light Brown Sugar, for sprinkling on top 


  1. To make the brown sugar glaze: Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir to dissolve. Stir in orange juice, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Increase heat and bring to a simmer, until the mixture reduces to about a ½ cup.  Remove from heat and stir in the lime juice.   
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium high heat. Grill peaches briefly, about 2 minutes on the inner flesh side. Remove from heat and brush with one tablespoon of glaze per peach half.   
  3. Top with whipped cream, chopped pistachios and a sprinkle of brown sugar.
