DIRECTIONS:
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg.
Step 3
Make a well in the center and add the oil, honey, both sugars, eggs, vanilla, tea and cider.
Step 4
Using a strong wire whisk, stir together well to make a well-blended batter, making sure no pockets of air are stuck to the bottom.
Step 5
Pour batter into well greased pan(s) and bake until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Start checking the cake 30 minutes after it goes in, but it could take closer to an hour to be done.
Note
This cake was made in a special honeycomb silicone mold pan, but alternately you can make it in two 9-inch loaf pans, or two 9-inch round cake pans or 1-9x13 inch sheet cake.
